We are used to seeing Discord as a collection of servers in the sidebar — a compact list of icons representing only the communities we have joined. But this is just a small part of a vast ecosystem that exists beyond our subscriptions.
This map reveals the entire Discord ecosystem within a single space.
We applied machine learning algorithms to measure the semantic similarity between communities. Each point on the map represents a Discord server. When servers discuss similar topics, they attract each other and appear close together. This creates entire islands and thematic archipelagos: from gaming clans and anime communities to IT enthusiasts, crypto discussions, and creative studios.
Navigate the interactive map, discover new servers based on your interests, explore adjacent niches, analyze competitors, and see how the entire Discord ecosystem is structured.
